The Meaning We Carry
Lioré means light. A reflection of warmth, clarity and the pathway back to oneself. The name represents what we want every encounter with Lioré to offer: an opportunity to leave the weight and expectations of the world outside, reconnect with what matters and bring greater intention to the life already being lived.
1975 is the birth year of our founder’s mother and a tribute to the woman whose life became part of Lioré’s foundation. Its place in our name carries love, history and continuity forward, reminding us that what is created with meaning can extend far beyond a single lifetime.
We believe worthiness is inherent, not something earned through productivity, appearance or status. Through nature-powered skincare and intentional care, Lioré encourages people to choose themselves consistently, nurture their wellbeing and discover more beauty within the ordinary moments that shape their lives.
A Letter from our Founder
To you,
Lioré began with a question I kept returning to: how much of our lives do we spend caring for everything and everyone around us, while treating ourselves as something we will eventually get to when there is more, more time, more money, more something?
I wanted to create something that gently challenged that way of living.
I believe the way we care for ourselves matters. Not because a beautiful product can solve everything, and not because self-care should become another expectation to meet, but because the small choices we make for ourselves communicate something. They say: I am worthy of my own time. My wellbeing deserves my attention. There is room for me in the life I am creating.
That belief became Lioré.
Even our name carries pieces of what matters most to me. Lioré means light, a word that, to me, represents warmth, possibility and finding your way back to yourself. 1975 is my mother’s birth year, even the accent above the É carries meaning. It is all deeply personal, deliberately preserved in our name as a reminder that the lives that shape us leave something behind. We inherit love, lessons, memories and ways of seeing the world, and in our own lives, we decide what we will carry forward.
Lioré was created at the intersection of those ideas: where beauty meets wellbeing, where nature meets thoughtful creation, and where caring for yourself becomes part of how you choose to live.
My intention for Lioré has never been to tell you what a beautiful life should look like. Your version should be entirely your own. I simply want Lioré to remind you to be present for it, to notice it, nurture it and make space within it for yourself.
Use the beautiful glass. Take the longer bath. Step outside and feel the air. Care for your skin slowly. Buy yourself the flowers. Play the song that brings you back to a version of yourself you had almost forgotten. Let ordinary days contain things worth remembering.
You do not have to wait until everything is finished, everyone else is cared for, or life becomes extraordinary.
